June Throwdown Results
Congrats to all who participated in today’s competition. Everybody gave it their all and it was brilliant to see so many people in the gym busting a gut and supporting each other.
Big thanks to Rich who sacrificed his spot in the competition to judge as we were short of numbers.
And congrats of course to the winners, Mitch, Cindy, Kristin and Ugo. They finished in first place in workouts 1 and 3, and despite coming fourth in the second workout (max press) were the worthy winners.
The workouts were as follows:
Workout 1 – Fran
150 thrusters (30kgs for men, 20kgs for women)
150 pull ups
Workout 2 – Max Press
Work up to a max press in 10 minutes. No racks allowed (bar must be cleaned into the rack position) and no decreasing the weight on the bar
Workout 3 – Chipper
Run 200m
100 kettlebell swings (24kgs for men, 16 kgs for women)
Run 200m
100 burpees
Run 200m
100 squats
Run 200m
100 sit-ups
